Cantiro Communities

The City of Edmonton held a press conference in late January at The Hills of Charlesworth to discuss housing and affordability in Edmonton. In a recent review commissioned by the Canadian Homebuilders’ Association, Edmonton was the top-ranked city in Canada for having the easiest housing construction rules. This recognition is a testament to the city’s efforts in streamlining the construction process and making it more accessible for developers and builders. The recognition is based on the effort required to obtain construction permits and comply with regulations. The review noted that Edmonton was the easiest city for builders to obtain the necessary permits and approvals to construct new housing units, ultimately saving time and helping support affordability within the new home market. The Hills of Charlesworth is Cantiro’s celebrated community in Southeast Edmonton, and also the 2022 winner of Best Community at the Canadian Homebuilders’ Association Edmonton Region Awards of Excellence in Housing. The community features exceptional architectural designs and a variety of housing options, including unique three-storey homes that help homebuyers make the dream of owning a single-family home a reality.
