The City of Edmonton held a press conference in late January at The Hills of Charlesworth to discuss housing and affordability in Edmonton. In a recent review commissioned by the Canadian Homebuilders’ Association, Edmonton was the top-ranked city in Canada for having the easiest housing construction rules. This recognition is a testament to the city’s efforts in streamlining the construction process and making it more accessible for developers and builders. The recognition is based on the effort required to obtain construction permits and comply with regulations.
