Losani Homes' Central Park brings NYC style to Hamilton

Hamilton has a lot to boast about – it has been dubbed the waterfall capital of the world, has a beautiful waterfront, and is undergoing mass development on the real estate front.

One of the newest master-planned communities coming to the area is Central Park by Losani Homes, which will consist of four soon-to-be hit neighbourhoods – Midtown, Madison, Soho and Park Avenue. Sound familiar? Well, it's just a matter of time until this development carries the same prestige and panache as NYC itself.

As indicated by its name, the community park will be at the very heart of this development. Central Park provides 15 acres of greenspace, and will be supplemented by such features as the Eco-trail Promenade, offering walking and biking paths that connects to the 10-km East Mountain Trail Loop, and a five-acre pond.

In order to get a better understanding of the full scope of the development, Losani homes invited YPNextHome to board a helicopter to view the site and surrounding area. From way above, key amenities were in sight such as Shoppers Drug Mart, Canadian Tire, Fortinos, Bishop Ryan Catholic Secondary School as well as conservation land and a number of waterfalls. The best part? If we were riding a car instead of a helicopter, these amenities would still be just minutes away from the development – a true testament to the lifestyle potential at Central Park.

Fred Losani, CEO of Losani Homes, told YP NextHome, "I'm very excited bout this development, and not just because our company happens to be on the verge of opening something that can be very successful, but because I really believe this [will be a] real hallmark community for our company, having brought together a lot of things from the visionary perspective... And our motives also came from a good place, which is that we didn't exploit every opportunity to try get the highest yield of this site, we did it responsibly. Working together with conservation partners and our landscape architects, I think we really moved in a good direction to ensure that we were able to capture the essence of the area and try to do something that was beneficial to the residents and the community overall."

The master-planned community will offer something for everyone, at any stage of life. Park Avenue is the first nieghbourhood within the master-planned community, consisting of detached homes on 30- to 50-ft. lots, and freehold townhomes situated by the community park and the protected Eromasa Karst Conservation Area. Located in the very centre of the community is Madison, offering modern urban two- or three-storey townhomes. Soho offers a condo lifestyle in a midrise building next to the eco-trail Promenade connecting residents to Central Park. The final phase will be Midtown, which will allow buyers to select from a boutique-style condominium, or a stylish urban town, next to the shops and services on Rymal Road.
