Big news for dwellers of southeast Calgary – you’ll soon have access to all the luxuries and conveniences of a downtown urban district but located in the far south of Calgary. Seton, home to Calgary’s new South Health Campus, is set to be the city’s newest urban district.

Seton, Calgary

Built on a 365-acre sight, this unique development is going to include some incredible additions to this part of the city. Featuring an active main street, a 16-acre park and a sprawling business area of mixed business and retail space, Seton is going to be the hub of community and recreation opportunities.

Expected to have a population of 120,000 people by 2030, this 15-year development is currently under construction and en route to becoming one of Calgary’s most desirable communities. Prospective homeowners will be excited to hear about the proposed 1,300 multi-family residences as well as a new public library and schools.

The virtual tours of the proposed developments give you an opportunity to see how Calgary’s south will move in this new direction. Two future LRT stations are also planned for the area, making it convenient for people to use public transportation. Deerfoot Trail is located close by, easing commutes to the rest of the city.

Keep your eye on this hot new community as it grows and expands to become Calgary’s new south urban district.
