Oliver is a historic neighbourhood in Edmonton and one of the most highly populated areas in the city. The young professional community here has made Oliver very trendy, and restaurants have sprouted up to cater to this demographic.

Popular hotspots:

  • CIBO Bistro: The ever-changing menu at this Italian bistro means there's always going to be something new and delicious to try.
  • Louisiana Purchase: Southern comfort food at its best can be found in Edmonton, you just have to know where to look. Order blackened chicken or catfish, with a side of gumbo.
  • Japonais Bistro: This Japanese fusion restaurant serves sushi and other traditional Japanese cuisine — but with a twist.
  • Famoso Neapolitan Pizzeria: This may be a chain restaurant, but Oliver residents swear by it. This particular location is well known all across Edmonton for having the best oven-ready pizza around.
