Burnaby area: Milano high living. high style.
April 08, 2016
Get set to look up, way up. Why? Because Milano by award-winning Solterra is coming to the Brentwood neighbourhood, and you can bet that this 30-storey, landmark tower is going to turn heads.
“Milano is going to be something very distinctive and unique in the Brentwood market — a singular tower set on a quiet street rather than being part of a cluster of anonymous highrises,” says Laura Rizzo, Solterra’s vice president of marketing. “The design is cosmopolitan with modern European influences. There will be 176 luxury concrete residences featuring one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom apartment residences plus eight townhomes and eight, three-storey live/work homes at the base of the building.”
The Essence of Luxury
True to the high-fashion history of its namesake, Milano interiors are an expression of good taste: Italian designed kitchens, spa-inspired ensuites, air conditioning, and large — as in really large — balconies for savouring the views and sunsets.
Following a long-standing Solterra tradition, the top third of the building will feature the Private Collection residences with exclusive premium finishing packages, dramatic oversized entry doors, and exceptional outlooks. Some will even include private garages — and all Private Collection homes have at least two-car parking.
Celebrate the Lifestyle
Living at Milano means easy access to the ever more diverse offerings of Brentwood’s retail hub. Restaurants, boutiques, services, parks, schools, and transit are all within easy walking distance. But Laura notes that since the building will be located just south of Lougheed Hwy, it will feel much quieter and private. “You have access to everything, but you’re not right in the middle of all the chaotic hustle and bustle.”
Milano’s onsite amenities are also poised to be spectacular. Almost 20,000 square feet of podium-level outdoor space that includes Solterra’s signature outdoor movie theater,
fire pit, putting green, barbeque area and lounge are sure to become a favourite spot where owners can relax and enjoy time with friends and family, or simply kick back with a good book and a beverage.
Naturally, there’s also a massive indoor amenity space with gourmet kitchen, lounge area, state-of-the-art fitness centre, steam room, and hot tub. And when visitors come calling, a comfy guest suite means they’ll always have a little privacy. Life is good.
Milano will be located at 2450 Alpha Avenue (two blocks south of Lougheed at Alaska).
