With the grand opening of its first showsuite and release of the first townhomes for sale, there is plenty to be excited about at Carlisle Group’s latest gem, Emerald Sky at Kincora, located in one of northwest Calgary’s premier communities.

Emerald Sky at Kincora is a master-planned urban village that combines condos and townhomes in a gorgeous contemporary design.

“We’re nearing completion on the two towers and we’re having a grand opening of our showsuite on Oct. 15 and 16, so we’re very excited about that,” says Jim Bryce, vice-president of sales and marketing. “We hope people will come out to see the design and experience how quiet it is.”

He notes the two eight-storey condo buildings are concrete and steel construction, even the walls separating the units are concrete, resulting in a quiet and safe environment for homebuyers and offering great value for resale.

These are the first two in a total of five buildings to be developed, and are comprised of 174 one- and two-bedroom suites, which have been such a hit that the buildings are already 70 per cent sold with all of the one-bedrooms being snapped up by buyers.

“The sales have been quite strong, especially when you consider the current economy,” Bryce says, noting there is still a good selection of two-bedrooms and two-bedroom-plus-dens available ranging from 646 to 937 sq. ft. starting in the $240,000s, with possessions beginning in November.

Buyers in Emerald Sky appreciate the concrete and steel construction, but also the modern open-concept designs that maximize the space with lots of energy-efficient windows to ensure an abundance of natural light and large balconies – some up to 300 sq. ft. with great panoramic views.

Well-appointed interiors include granite countertops in the kitchens and bathrooms, stainless steel appliances, wood shaker cabinets, tile backsplash, upgraded lighting and in-suite laundry with front-load washer and dryer.

The homes come standard with luxury vinyl plank flooring in the entry, kitchen and bathrooms, but buyers are able to choose their flooring including extending the vinyl plank throughout the suite.

Also, during the showsuite’s grand opening on Oct. 15 and 16, buyers will receive a special $10,000 discount on their condo purchase.

The Carlisle Group is also excited to release the first eight townhomes. These townhomes are fully developed on all three levels with three bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms ranging from 1,478 to 1,711 sq. ft. and starting in the $290,000s.

The townhomes share an underground heated parking garage with the two condo buildings and each homeowners gets one parking stall with the option to buy a second stall and have direct access to the parkade out the rear door of their townhome.

There is also secured bicycle storage in the parkade, and there will be a shared barbecue patio on the rooftop of each condo building. As well, there will be greenspace with walking paths, benches, courtyards, relaxing gardens and trees nestled throughout the development, which is located adjacent to playing fields and a large park.

Emerald Sky offers a stellar northwest location being just north of Stoney Trail, between Shaganappi Trail and Symons Valley Boulevard N.W. with easy access to these major transportation routes and walking distance to a bus transit hub.

As well, Kincora is an established community with a wide range of amenities and conveniences within easy reach. Emerald Sky is within walking distance to Sage Hill Crossing, which includes a Walmart, Loblaws City Market and other shops, services and eateries. Plus, it’s a short drive to nearby Creekside Shopping Centre, Beacon Hill Shopping Centre and Symons Valley Ranch Farmer’s Market.
