Cloud9 Condos: One-month countdown to occupancy begins!

YP NextHome recently attended a tour of Lash Group's Cloud9 Condos to get the latest on the progress of construction. The building is inching closer to completion, with first occupancies set for mid-October. Our tour was led by Serge Mazzuca, vice president of construction, who took us from the ground level up, giving us the update on what's been done and the final touches left to be made.

Cloud9 Condos' ground level

The bottom ground, along Esther Drive, comprises of townhome suites that each contain a patio and garden bed. The brick, precast cladding as well as the window glazing are complete. The glass panels and railings are still in progress, and according to Mazzuca, they had to be designed in a different manner to meet the new building code requirements, which mandates that glass panels must sit further back from the building's edge.

Cloud9 Condos' condo suites

On the north end of Cloud 9 Condos there will be a large outdoor terrace, where residents can entertain guests. On the left will be green space, and a patio will be applied on the right. This terrace will include BBQs, comfortable lounge seating, an al fresco kitchen and a rooftop fire pit.
