Crescent Court by Liberty Homes in Burnaby

There’s nothing quite like living on the campus of a world-class university. These are communities with a unique, multi-generational vibe. Add in the fresh air found atop Burnaby Mountain, and it’s no wonder that Crescent Court, the newest collection of residences from Liberty Homes, is already turning heads at SFU’s dynamic UniverCity neighbourhood.

“This is our fourth project at SFU, and we’re delighted that excavation is now well underway,” says Jesse Nobbs-Thiessen, president of Liberty Homes. “UniverCity is a neighbourhood that’s really coming of age, especially for families and professionals. Every time I’m up here, I see more and more people walking or taking advantage of the ever-expanding amenities and services found on High Street.”

Enviable Lifestyle

Comprised of two residential towers — one 14-storeys, the other 20-storeys — above a three-storey townhouse podium with curved façade, Crescent Court will feature a richly landscaped, central courtyard that’s crisscrossed with walking paths and filled with outdoor gathering spaces for relaxing with friends and neighbours. The Childcare Centre is right next door, the Highlands Elementary School and High Street are only a block away, and, of course, residents have easy access to the diverse array of educational and cultural opportunities offered by a world-class university.

“For this project, we’ve focused on larger homes designed to appeal to families and end-users,” Jesse says, adding that the majority are two-bedroom or one-bedroom-and-den. “Our standard two-bedroom suites range from 800 to 940 sq. ft. — meaning there’s lots of space.”

Proud to be a locally owned and operated company, Liberty Homes has been building high-quality homes throughout the Lower Mainland for more than three decades. A great builder in a great community — what’s not to love about that.
