Between limited outdoor space and limited room to decorate, it can be hard to completely embrace the warmer months in a condo. Nowadays, most people are lucky to have many great building amenities and live in exciting cities with plenty of outdoor events, but summer can make even the most die-hard urbanite yearn for a spacious backyard to relax in.

Check out these tips to decorating your small space during everyone’s favourite season:

5. PATIO SPACE

Even if you don't have abackyard, you can still bring the summer spirit indoors to your condo or small space. Growing your own herbs and vegetables is a great way to welcome the outdoors to your small space.

In the summer, having a home officecan be a great idea if you have reduced work hours or have the option to work from home. This comes in handy especially during vacation time if you have a little bit of extra work to do.

Designer window treatments have never been more chic, and summer is the perfect time to embrace them. The sun—especially in high rises—can heat up a small space like a condo way faster than a house, so now is a better time than ever to both decorate and efficiently cool your space.
