Prospective buyers who have been eagerly awaiting the launch of Phase 3 in Heartland are thrilled that presales have now started on a wide selection of new lots coming this fall by APEX Developments.

“We had tremendous interest from buyers about lots in Phase 3 well before the launch, so we expect a great response.” says APEX development co-ordinator Morgan Gowland.

“What has people excited is that the variety of lots in Phase 3 offer them plenty of choice to build on the lot that fits their lifestyle best,” says Michelle Walker, area manager for Excel Homes. “We have walk-out lots with south backyards that back on to a pond, lots with west facing backyards that boast amazing mountain views, pie-shaped lots, and more.”

This new phase provides Excel with the opportunity to offer more than 13 double front-attached garage single-family models, including three- or four-bedroom floorplans with unique designs.

“We recently launched a new plan called the Jensen. At 1,563 sq. ft., it is our smallest model, but has been a very popular choice among buyers as it offers such great value,” Walker says, noting it has a bonus room that can be converted to a fourth bedroom. “We’re also currently offering a summer promotion of $15,000 off any model, on any lot until August 30 (2019) in Phase 3 only.”

Diane Blackman, area manager for Pacesetter by Sterling Homes, agrees that buyers are excited over the opportunity to get a mountain-view and walk-out lots in Phase 3.

“Wider lots in this phase allow us to introduce a larger selection of floorplans to our buyers,” Blackman says. “We’re even offering a limited time promotion in Heartland of $10,000 in free upgrades, or off the purchase price.”

Heartland appeals to a wide range of buyers. It’s ideally located on the west side of Cochrane, offering residents the charm of small-town living and a laid-back country lifestyle with a wide range of amenities close at hand.

Gowland says Heartland is in an ideal spot to head into downtown Cochrane, Calgary or west to Ghost Lake, Kananaskis Country and the mountains beyond.

“Incredible value can be found in every home in Heartland,” she says. “Compared to homes in the city, buyers can save thousands of dollars on homes of the same style and size.”

She notes that single-family homes with double front-attached garages start from the $340,000s. Excel and Pacesetter also have duplexes starting from the low $300,000s. Rohit Communities’ no condo fee street towns start from the high $290,000s, and come complete with fully landscaped yard, fence, deck and detached garage. For those looking to live maintenance-free, Birchwood’s pet-friendly townhomes are the perfect choice, starting from the $250,000s.

Heartland is home to two playgrounds, a beautiful park and pathway system and an abundance of naturalized spaces. And, with construction on a local commercial area underway, and a pedestrian crosswalk that will connect residents to the Bow River and nearby communities, residents are thrilled with what is coming.
