You love the South Surrey lifestyle: the proximity to beaches, shopping, restaurants, and outdoor recreation. You want the convenience of lock’n’go living that a townhome offers but you aren’t willing to sacrifice the space and luxury of a single-family home.

Well, now you can have it all. Say ‘hello’ to Imperial. But you’ll have to hurry because the final phase of 22 homes has just been released, and once they’re gone, they’re gone for good.

“Grandview Heights is one of South Surrey’s most sought-after neighbourhoods,” says Davinder Deo, marketing manager. “And Imperial is one of the last sites that can be developed here. We hear it over and over, downsizers who are often moving from Vancouver, the North Shore, or Richmond, are surprised and delighted when they discover how well-designed and well-appointed these homes are. I’ve heard more than one person say that our display suite feels much larger than their current single-family house — and everything is brand new.”

Each Imperial home, he adds, has a fully fenced backyard because, after all, this area has more annual hours of sunshine than Hawaii — meaning you’re going to love your outdoor space.

“And since almost a third of the site has been retained as greenspace, over half of the homes at Imperial overlook the community’s meandering central greenway — a great place to take an evening stroll or chat with neighbours.”

Engaging Neighbourhood

“At Imperial, everything you need is within easy walking distance, yet you’re in a quiet, residential neighbourhood, so when you come home, it feels like a retreat from the hustle and bustle,” Davinder says. “I’ve lived nearby for about six years, and I’m still amazed by the shopping, restaurants, services, and schools that are in close proximity. Plus, there’s the Grandview Aquatic Centre and the Semiahmoo Trail, and it’s only a short drive to the White Rock Promenade or Crescent Beach.”

Community Roots

Imperial is proudly built by T.M. Crest Homes, a family-owned company with over 30 years of history building in the Lower Mainland. And that’s just the beginning. Looking ahead, the company has three more communities coming soon to Abbotsford, one of the province’s fastest growing urban hubs.

There’s a 25-home development on Upper Maclure Road and a 30-home property close to the planned U-District at Marshall and McKenzie. T.M. Crest’s most ambitious project, though, is the 178-home, master-planned neighbourhood in Abbotsford’s historic Clayburn district.

“The City has identified Clayburn as one of the new town centres, and we will be right in the heart of it,” Davinder explains. “We will be introducing a number of upscale retailers to this neighbourhood. In recent times, a number of high-end restaurateurs have chosen to relocate in Abbotsford, and we anticipate attracting even more to Clayburn. It’s exciting times for sure.”
