Avalon rolls out ZEN Rockland Park

Avalon Master Builder is introducing their newest ZEN tonwhomes in Rockland Park, what may be the most anticipated new community in the northwest.

“In Rockland Park, we’re building our stacked townhome product, similar to the townhomes we currently sell in Cranston’s Riverstone and Seton,” says Avalon’s Marni Chenier.

These will be two-storey energy-efficient townhomes, some with private rooftop patios and/or third level developments, and all with private fenced backyards. There will also be single-level living flats with outdoor patio space.

ZEN Rockland Park will have seven floorplans to choose from ranging from 500 to 1,700 square feet. Prices start in the $170,000s for single-level flats and from the $280,000s for two-storey townhomes.

“We’re now selling and are anticipating building later this year and to open our show homes when the community launches soon,” Chenier adds. Go to zenbyavalon.com to find out more.

Green means go at Spring Creek

The COVID-19 pandemic may have stopped the world on its tracks, but not at the Spring Creek family of mountainside homes in Canmore. The award-winning development has recently completed its latest gold-rated Built Green building, White Spruce Lodge, which is completely sold out.

“We were the first multi-family development in Canada to build condos meeting Built Green standards. We continue to do so with every development that followed, including the Jack Pine Lodge and Tamarack,” Spring Creek President Frank Kernick tells Inside Calgary.

Spring Creek is firmly committed to sustainability and promises to be environment stewards in the development of the 70 acres of land in the heart of Canmore. They claim to be the only development with both geothermal heating and air conditioning systems for all its buildings, and they recycle 100 per cent of their construction waste. All its buildings have gold or higher Built Green ratings.

Strong sales prove its popularity. Approximately 80 per cent of the Tamarack’s 80 condominium homes have been sold. Set for completion in 2021, there are several available options for one, two or three-bedroom suites ranging from 720 to 2,331 square-feet and priced from $469,000 to $1,359,000. “It will have the best views in Canmore,” he says.
