What’s happening The young community of Wolf Willow by the Bow River brings affordability and style in a riverside community for everyone, now it brings fun too. This southeast community by WestCreek Developments just opened its first playground: Osprey Park.

“We are excited to announce the completion of Wolf Willow’s first themed playground, Osprey Park!” says Kalida Manarin, Marketing Manager at WestCreek. “As you may or may not know, all of Wolf Willow’s playground’s themes are centred on local wildlife and history. Osprey Park is inspired by the osprey, a bird of prey, found in the neighbouring Fish Creek Park.”

The playground opening also coincided with the unveiling of new showhomes in Wolf Willow’s latest phase, including Madison Avenue Group, Trico Homes and Look Master Builder.

My Legacy Park II’s newest show suites

The goal at Brad Remington Homes always been to make the homebuyer’s dream come true, and they have turned a lot of those dreams into reality with their wide variety of successful series of multi-family developments across the city.

But the overwhelming response they received for their latest development, My Legacy Park I & II, surpasses even the lofty goals they set for themselves, as the award-winning condo moves to its final building.
Six new show homes have recently opened at My Legacy Park II giving visitors the opportunity to marvel at the easy, convenient, amenity-rich lifestyle available in this well-established community of Legacy in south Calgary.

“The show suites are a combination of some of our most popular plans that have been redesigned with improvements and brand new first time show suite models,” says Bryan Logel, vice-president of sales and marketing of Brad Remington Homes.

Being featured as a showhome for the first time is the Nicole II, a 923-square-foot, two-bedroom, two-bath model. “This plan came from customer feedback and reflects the buyer’s changing needs. The first thing you’ll notice is its space,” he adds.

Harmony’s vision comes to life

One of the winningest community developments in the Calgary area put another feather in its cap in September – in fact it put two! First is winning Best Existing Community at the 2021 BILD Alberta Awards, and the other is for the start of construction of the clubhouse at the Mickelson National Golf Club.

Harmony – a joint development between Bordeaux Developments and Qualico Communities - was nominated for Existing Community of the Year, Show Home Parade of the Year and the Developer Pinnacle Award. Through extensive peer review and judging, Harmony was awarded Existing Community of the Year, which all goes to prove that its vision for creating a world-class lake community at the western outskirts of Calgary is working.

The new clubhouse for its neighbouring Mickelson National Golf Club goes along with Harmony’s vision.
It will create a gathering place for golfers, members and guests to meet and socialize during their visit to this beautiful championship-designed golf course. The Clubhouse will include men’s and women’s locker rooms, outdoor dining overlooking multiple holes on the course, and spacious indoor dining options which will provide amenities and services for every member and guest to enjoy. Residents of Harmony have the added benefit of receiving Social membership status at Mickelson National Golf Club once they take possession of their homes.
