Hopewell, Qualico team up for Hotchkiss community

Two giants in Calgary’s community development industry joined forces to bring to life the newest southeast community: Hotchkiss.
Hopewell Residential and Qualico Communities joined together to begin development of this 237-acre community at the juncture of Stoney Trail and Highway 22X. Its development can’t come any sooner, as the completion of neighbouring communities of Copperfield, New Brighton and Auburn Bay gives rise to new housing demand in the area.
“We’re excited to announce that land development officially commenced this June, with grading and home construction preparation now fully underway,” says Brett Friesen, Hopewell Residential’s Senior Vice-President, Business and Community Development.

Claudio Palumbo, Qualico Communities’ Vice President, Community Development – Southern Alberta says they are thrilled as well. “We have been seeking opportunities to grow Qualico’s business in Calgary’s highly active southeast sector for many years and jumped at this opportunity when it became available to us.”

With show homes set to open in Fall, 2022, the new community will feature family-friendly paired homes, laned homes and front-attached garage homes. At full build-out, Hotchkiss will include 2,300 homes, and will be home to nearly 5,000 residents. Go to hopewellresidential.com to register and avail of pre-sale deals.

No-Condo-Fee townhomes come to Harmony

StreetSide Developments is excited to offer Harmony’s first no-condo fee townhomes, as the renowned developer opens its Harmony Park showhomes.

The new Harmony Park showhome is designed to wow with top-of-the-line features that elevate it to an executive-style townhome. The corner unit showhome includes a triple-car detached garage and a developed lower level that achieves the unit’s true potential and defines a luxurious lifestyle.

“We really went overboard with the lavish attention to detail included in this showhome,” says Area Manager Anetta Moscibrodzki.
Harmony Park townhomes range in size from 1,684- to 1,716 sq. ft. with three- to four bedrooms and two- and-a-half to three-and-a-half baths. They come with double or triple detached garages. They start from the $480’s plus GST.

It is the second of two townhome projects StreetSide has in this premier lake community jointly developed by Qualico Communities and Bordeaux Developments. Harmony Peaks is also available, offering traditional row townhomes. Visit the show home at 201 Alpine Rush View, Rocky View County. Or go to www.harmonytownhomes.ca for more information.

Brookfield’s new Purcell in Livingston

The north community of Livingston continues to grow, as Brookfield Residential introduces its newest showhome: The Purcell 2.
With three bedrooms and two-and-a-half baths, it is the ideal front-drive garage home. “The Purcell 2 brings functional space and a great layout that buyers will love. The main floor office remains connected to the house – a perfect workspace for adults, or homework hub for kids.

There is a huge upper-level bonus room, perfect for family movie nights,” says Brookfield Residential Marketing Manager, Justin Catelino.

The 2,229 square-foot Purcell 2 has an additional 655 sq. ft. developed basement that realizes its full potential. The kitchen is a picture of functional and stylish perfection with a large island and walk-through pantry, connected to a spacious mudroom.

“The finishing in this home really shines – natural wood tones are complimented by blue and grey tones, creating a calming vibe throughout the home. The carpet is extra plush, the herringbone backsplash is rich in texture, the open shelves create dimension in the kitchen. Everything comes together in a simple, yet thoughtful way. It really feels like home.”

Visit the showhome at 38 Howse Mount NE. Or go to brookfieldresidential.com for more information.
