What’s happening

Summer 2022 has officially arrived and there’s a lot going on in Edmonton! From much-anticipated festivals, to a rocking concert lineup, there’s always something fun going on in the city. Plus, you can add a jam-packed community event calendar to the list! Homebuilders and developers are excited to bring back the family-fun to their neighbourhoods with summer events that showcase the unique amenities in their communities. The latest included Melcor’s Rosenthal in Full Bloom event that took place on June 18th. The sunny Saturday afternoon featured a neighbourhood party and a grand opening for three new showhomes from Homes by Avi, Cantiro, and Pacesetter. Visitors had the chance to tour Rosenthal while being treated to a charcuterie tasting, a zero-proof mixology station, and a variety of activities for the kids. Cantiro Group

Edmonton homebuilders, developers and trade partners teamed up to support Ukraine relief and refugees. On April 29, Cantiro proudly announced that on behalf of their staff and more than two dozen local trade and business partners, a donation of $250,000 to the Ed Stelmach Community Foundation and Canada-Ukraine Foundation (CUF) was made to help provide immediate humanitarian aid in Ukraine and supporting refugees as they settle in Edmonton and across Canada. Jodie Wacko, COO at Cantiro, explained that initiative started “as a quick conversation at the end of a meeting saying let’s pledge $50,000 and offer to match the donations of our staff, trades and business partners up to an additional $50,000. We were quickly overwhelmed by the responses. It’s a testament to the wonderful support that Edmonton businesses give back to our communities, in this case, our global community.”

George Cantalini, CEO at Cantiro, adds that “it’s unbelievable how our employees and trade partners stepped up and got behind this. Sometimes when you start a ball rolling it picks up speed and great things can happen. These Foundations are doing amazing work to help the people in Ukraine, their loved ones, and all of those affected.” Learn more about Cantiro and the organizations that were supported at cantiro.ca
