Brigil donates iPads to help patients stay connected to loved ones

In two months, Hôpital Montfort Hospital was able to make 264 virtual visits possible between patients and their loved ones thanks to the 15 iPads that Brigil donated in order to give back to their community.

Montfort had to adapt to new realities in a short time, and when visits can resume they will continue to use this service for people unable to visit a loved one.

Montfort Foundation created a COVID-19 emergency fund to finance the various coronavirus-related needs of Montfort’s staff and patients. Soon after the fund launched, this gift came from one of the most influential leaders in the region — the family of Gilles Desjardins, president of the Brigil home construction company.

Everything is ‘thumbs up’ at the Cardel Homes’ Creekside community in Richmond where Julie and Vivien take five for a visit.

Creekside offers best of both worlds

A great place to visit and an even better place to live, the scenic enclave of Creekside offers the best of both worlds, with big-city accessibility, scenic views and outdoor amenities that only a rural setting can provide.

To learn more about this family-friendly community and the bungalow and two-storey plans that are available, visit cardelhomes.com and reach out to Vivien to book a sales appointment at 764 Kirkham Crescent.

Take a selfie, fight prostate cancer!

Phoenix Homes is a proud sponsor of the Telus Ride for Dad. Even though the ride has been postponed, motorcyclists can do the Ride Alone Together to Fight Prostate Cancer. On a date and time of their choosing, they can ride alone or with a few other registered friends and follow the route. By stopping at specified locations – like this one outside of Phoenix Homes’ Pathways at Findlay Creek location at 122 Dun Skipper – take a selfie that can be posted to social media, and keep riding and collecting pledges until the fall.
