Harmony 2020

There are big things in store for the young Springbank community of Harmony in 2020.

This recreation-minded, residential community just west of Calgary has been known for its estate and semi-estate homes that go along with its lakeside and golf community nature. But the release last fall of its Poplar Collection and the coming introduction of row townhomes this year brings a new sense of attainability to the community.

The Poplar Collection gathers select front-attached garage and rear-laned homes starting in the high $500,000s. “Our target market is growing families that want to live within an active lifestyle community,” says Ryan Hall, Vice-President, Marketing & Communications at Bordeaux Developments.

Builders in this collection include Baywest Homes, Broadview Homes and Sterling Homes Group.

What might kick interest into high gear is the introduction of Harmony’s first multi-family development, as StreetSide Developments brings in two row townhome projects into the community.

Harmony Peaks in Phase 6 is currently selling and Harmony Park in Phase 10 will start later. They represents Harmony’s first multi-family townhome projects and also the lowest price entry into the community with prices starting from the $470,000s with GST.

Harmony is a joint development between Bordeaux and Qualico Communities.

STARS Lottery

Brad Remington Homes

One of Calgary’s busiest condo developers, Brad Remington Homes, has a hit in its My Legacy Park I and II condo developments in southeast Calgary.

Construction is well underway for the second building of My Legacy Park II and sales have been strong, says Bryan Logel, Sales & Marketing Agent for Brad Remington Homes. “Framing has begun, and completion is anticipated for summer of this year.”

My Legacy Park II presents an amazing value for people looking to live in South Calgary, he tells Inside Calgary. “The location is unbeatable, especially with the new Township shopping centre being built just a couple of blocks west of our site. Residents will have world-class shopping within walking distance by spring 2021.”

A further advantage is that all units in My Legacy Park II come with underground parking.

Suites for sale right now range from one-bedroom homes starting in the $140,000s to two-bedroom models starting in the $150,000s right up to the $250,000s.
Meanwhile, in the northwest, the developer’s Sage Hill Park condos is now marketing its third building with prices starting from the $140,000s.
“I anticipate the market’s going to take a step forward this year and next,” Logel says. “Overall, there’s lots to be excited about with both developments.”
