Life by the lake is where it all begins

If there’s one unbreakable thread that weaves through Chris Napior’s story, it’s family. As the president of Lakeside Developments Inc., Chris was born in Ajax, Ontario in a local hospital built by his grandfather Ken Smith who also served as the town’s mayor.

At a young age, Chris learned the value of honesty and hard work from his grandfather, who owned Kenmil Construction and was responsible for building the province’s Brewer’s Retail outlets, as well as many Cashway Lumber stores.

Muskoka living in Huntsville

Like many generations of Ontarians, Chris and his family spend plenty of time in the Muskoka region, and he traces his family’s roots back to the 1930s where they had a hand building the historic log buildings that exist in the area, including the original Patterson Kaye Lodge on Lake Muskoka.

With his deep roots in planning and construction and his team’s passion for providing innovative, Green technologies, Chris is building a project unlike any other in Muskoka.
