Mattamy Homes launches Stillwater Community in Edmonton

After building and developing sought-after communities in Canada and the U.S., Mattamy Homes is thrilled to launch its first master-planned community in Edmonton.

Mattamy Homes is both the developer and homebuilder in Stillwater, a 230-acre community located in West Edmonton at 199th Street and 23rd Avenue, comprised of six stages to be developed over the next six to eight years and estimated to include 1,300 homes when complete.

Mattamy Homes will host Stillwater’s grand opening event on March 10 from noon to 5 p.m. Stillwater’s first phase will offer three distinct housing styles, offering between two to four bedrooms between all product types and designed for everyone from first-time to move-up buyers.

Stillwater presents two different multi-family options in Stage 1: three-storey village homes with a single-car garage that range from 1,244 to 1,650 sq. ft.; and two-storey rear lane towns that come with a double-car garage and range from 1,304 to 1,624 sq. ft.

As well in Phase 1, there is a wide range of single-family home designs with front-attached single, double and double with tandem car garages and with lots available backing onto a wetland. These homes consist of: Models ranging from 1,457 to 1,790 sq. ft. on 32-ft. wide lots.; 36-ft. wide lots with styles ranging from 1,795 to 1,923 sq. ft.; 38-ft. wide lots with homes ranging from 1,866 to 2,663 sq. ft.; a 39-ft. wide lot featuring a 1,948-sq.-ft. home; and homes that range from 2,462 to 2,760 sq. ft. and are on 43-ft. wide lots.

As part of Stillwater’s launch, Mattamy will open seven multi-family and single-family showhomes, giving visitors a chance to view a variety of smart designs and fabulous finishings and the option to presale or move into quick spring possessions will be available.

Among the showhomes are three rear lane towns – The Magrath, 1,304 sq. ft.; The Cardston Corner, 1,523 sq. ft.; and The Raymond End, 1,624 sq. ft. – and four single-family homes – The Jasper, 1,795 sq. ft.; The Banff, 2,520 sq. ft.; The Canmore, 2,501 sq. ft.; and The Lake Louise, 2,760 sq. ft.

Stillwater is a beautiful, family-friendly community with an abundance of greenspace including a naturalized wetland and natural reserve with a pond, and pathways through the natural area. As well, a Home Owner’s Amenity Centre will be built by fall 2018 with a skating/hockey rink, splash pad and playground, and future homeowner’s amenity building.

Residents will be pleased that there is a future community commercial site in Stillwater that will provide neighbourhood conveniences, but the location is also close to a variety of amenities including shops, grocery stores, services and restaurants in West Edmonton. The location also provides quick access to Anthony Henday for easy commutes.
