With the sell-out success of the first phase of ME Living Condos in Toronto's burgeoning Markham and Ellesmere area, Lash Group of Companies has launched ME2, with stunning model suites to tour and inspire you.

The 678-sq.-ft. one-bedroom model was appointed and furnished by Paul Davies of Tanner Hill Associates Incorporated. Aimed at first-time buyers, and also attractive to the spectrum of purchasers at ME2, this suite showcases the high-quality standard package of features and finishes. The model reflects the condominium as a whole, which combines contemporary urban design and a refreshing new take on what it means to live at Markham and Ellesmere. Modern elements with touches of traditional and retro create an interesting and inviting ambiance.

“Everything in this model was chosen to show visitors how spacious this layout can feel. The design is modern, with a handy den just off of the living room that is perfect as an office and/or makeshift guest room with the addition of a day bed,” Davies says. “In the main living area, the modern glass tables coexist nicely with the shag area rug. Throughout, we used pieces that are simple and clean, and injected pops of texture and colour.”

A palette of varying shades of grey with accents in purple, plum and mauve create a comfortably stylish look

At the base of these choices is a palette of varying shades of grey with accents in purple, plum and mauve for a comfortably stylish look. “The light grey walls contrast with the wood-look laminate flooring that runs through the suite,” Davies says. “It’s a warm grey with browns in the background. In the kitchen, the darker cabinets have the same effect.”

Sheer draperies woven with a metallic grey thread provide privacy and catch the light to enhance the spacious feeling of the living room and bedroom. “In the bedroom, we placed a queen-size bed with a recessed bottom that also gives a sense of space,” Davies explains. “In addition, the rounded lacquered bedside tables come in single-drawer modules that can be stacked. It’s a clever way to introduce hidden storage areas.” In the ensuite, the tub/shower area is surrounded by oversized white horizontal tiles with a wavy pattern. “This minimizes grout lines, and the look is bright and open.”

ME2 Condos will rise to 29 storeys, with occupancy slated for late 2020. Appointed by Tanner Hill Associates, its amenities include an interactive sports lounge, bar and plasma screens, a fitness yoga area, demonstration kitchen, private dining area, large party room, theatre and guest accommodations.

The condominium is part of Lash Group’s master-planned urban community that will eventually feature condominiums, townhomes, shops, parks, a tree-lined courtyard with a water feature, plus a landscaped podium rooftop with an outdoor pool. ME2 is located steps to Scarborough Town Centre and Scarborough’s regional transit hub offering TTC bus service, the LRT and GO buses. Access to Hwy. 401 and the Don Valley Parkway is close by, and it is also mere minutes to schools, dining, entertainment, parks, bicycle trails and golf courses.

Framed by a striking contemporary exterior by Turner Fleischer Architects, the choices at ME include one-bedroom, one-bedroom-plus-den, two-bedroom and two-bedroom-plus-den suites in sizes from 402 to 907 sq. ft., with prices starting from just $189,990.

The ME Living Condos presentation centre is located at 1151 Markham Rd. Hours are Monday to Thursday noon to 6 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday noon to 5 p.m.; Friday closed. For more information, call 416.430.0003 or visit MeLiving.ca.
