Sarah Jessica Parker sells quirky NYC home
March 24, 2015
Sarah Jessica Parker and husband Matthew Broderick have sold their NYC townhouse for $19.95 million, according to The Real Deal. Selling the multi-million-dollar home wasn't an easy task for the power couple. They initially listed it for $25 million in 2012, then took it off the market and relisted it for $22 million in 2014.
The townhouse is located on East 10th Street in the Greenwich Village area of New York City, often referred to as the "Bohemian capital." The five-bedroom, seven-bathroom townhouse has seven fireplaces, a huge master suite with a private terrace, a hand-carved stone tub and, staying true to Parker's Carrie Bradshaw days, two enviable walk-in closets. The home also boasts 12-ft. ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows and two large skylights. One of the quirkiest aspects of home was the glossy white ping-pong table smack-dab in the middle of one of the rooms on the family floor.
