Nestled in the Bow River Valley steps from the Blue Devil Golf Course, Bow River and Fish Creek Park trails are the latest Shane Homes paired showhomes to impress with their inviting open designs and incredible features.

The two new paired showhomes – the 1,652-sq.-ft. Cascade and the 1,476-sq.-ft. Arbor II – are located in scenic Wolf Willow and are receiving rave reviews from buyers, says area manager Michael MacLean.

“The Cascade is a new model for us and has quickly become our top seller here,” MacLean says. “This home offers a generous square footage – most paired homes average 1,300 to 1,400 sq. ft., but the Cascade is over 1,600 sq. ft. – so it’s not a compromise and people are impressed with the size and space. You have three bedrooms plus a family room upstairs, something you never see in a paired home and people love it; the family room is definitely a wow factor.”

The Cascade delivers a feeling of grandeur – from its full width veranda, nine-ft. ceilings found on the main floor, and the smart design that leaves behind no wasted space.

“People love that this design flows really well from the front living room to central dining and rear kitchen making it great for entertaining,” MacLean says. “By having the closets, stairs, half-bath and mud room along the shared wall side, you’ll never hear your neighbours.”

The kitchen features an expansive island, quartz countertops, stainless steel hood fan and upgraded decorative tile work that is not only behind the hood fan, but also on the island and a feature wall in the half-bath for visually stunning appeal.

Upstairs, the central lifestyle room provides a relaxing space for the family to enjoy and helps to separate the owners’ suite from the children’s bedrooms, providing additional privacy.

The owners’ suite is highlighted by a wood panel feature wall, and presents an inviting space with an ensuite with a walk-in shower and a spacious walk-in closet. A full bathroom, laundry closet and two generous-sized secondary bedrooms complete the second floor.

MacLean says the Arbor II “has a more private feel as you don’t have a view of the kitchen from the front entry.” There is a defined space for the living room, and the floorplan is still open with a central dining room and rear kitchen. “The Arbor II has always been a popular model and people love its warm feel.”

Among Arbor II’s terrific features are quartz countertops in the kitchen, owners’ suite with an ensuite with a walk-in shower and walk-in closet, upstairs laundry and two good-sized secondary bedrooms.

Wolf Willow is a spectacular community being developed in southeast Calgary accessed off 210 Avenue S.E. “People love the location; it’s a very picturesque,” MacLean says. “We’re right across from the Blue Devil Golf Course, a few blocks away from the river and trails to Fish Creek Park.” And with being in the valley below Walden, people have easy access to a variety of shops and services.
