The Homebuilders Association Vancouver (HAVAN) is hosting the 26th annual HAVAN Parade of Homes on Sunday, June 9, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for families to tour 20-plus award-winning homes across Metro Vancouver.
A must-see on the parade is a breathtaking home in the 10 Plums development by Wallmark Custom Homes, located on a private cul-de-sac of all new single-family homes, in the heart of the established Upper Delbrook neighbourhood.
Home #7 of 10 is a custom-built, one-of-a-kind home with spectacular ocean and city views. Clear cedar and stone accents on the exterior make this home stand out right away. Enter through the front door and be blown away by an oversized, south-facing picture window set within a frameless glass staircase. This open-concept plan features a main floor perfect for entertaining, or for a quiet night at home. A large covered deck sits off the kitchen and the great room. Open the oversized Innotech sliding door and experience perfect indoor/outdoor living. A massive upper floor deck spans the entire back of the home and is perched high enough to take full advantage of the amazing water views.
Views aside, all the comfort and beauty we have come to expect from our home is supported by building science and years of craftmanship. I encourage anyone considering a home renovation, custom build or new-home purchase to take this opportunity to meet our builders, renovators and designers and see first-hand what goes into designing and building a home. Our Parade is as educational as it is inspirational, and I am confident people will be wowed by the state-of-the-art design finishing, but also by the building envelop, too.
Visit havan.ca/parade to sign up, view the homes, and plan your route!
Admission is free with an encouraged donation of $10 per family (collected at your first house only) to help support the purchase of tools, building materials and safety gear for a carpentry training program offered by Lower Mainland secondary schools.
