We all want that community feel within the boundaries of the city. We strive for that vibrant, interconnected residential neighbourhood that builds on the history of the city while creating something new overall, a place to call home. Look no further than Lifetime Developments’ Liberty Market Tower, a historic wartime weapons manufacturing site reimagined as a pillar of an ever-changing community.

Following the success of the first two phases of the Liberty Market Complex project - Liberty Market Building and Liberty Market Lofts - the final stage of the redevelopment starts with a heritage warehouse built in the 1940s and transformed for the modern age.

The original structure of Liberty Market Tower was a wartime munitions factory for the Brenn gun, and a portion of railroad tracks used to bring the raw materials into the build still run through the property, according to Brian Brown, Principal of Lifetime Developments.

“From the outset, our work in Liberty Village has always been about creating a community,” said Brown. “We were part of Liberty Village at the very beginning of its latest transformation and are proud to bring this project to life through a one-of-a-kind building situated where art meets business and industrial heritage meets modern design.”

Here’s a look into what you will find within Liberty Market Tower: The development will boast a distinctive 28-storey tower featuring 281 luxury residential suites and seven floors of commercial space – all with connectivity to the existing Liberty Market Building. Condo suites range from studios to three-bedrooms, accommodating a range of lifestyles. Over 12,000 combined sq. ft. of indoor and outdoor amenity space make up the 8th floor of the building, featuring a state-of-the-art fitness studio, entertaining rooms, business centre, outdoor dining; which hosts BBQ stations, soft seating and a freight car converted into an outdoor bar lounge with incredible views overlooking both the city, Exhibition Place, and Lake Ontario. The building also includes three levels of underground parking – as well as additional commercial parking, which is a key feature. Sales will commence at the end of February.

Liberty Market Tower will add a unique dynamic to the neighbourhood, accented by a distinctive art collaboration and a range of highly sought-after lifestyle-based amenities. Lifetime has partnered with renowned artist Anthony Ricciardi to create murals and sculptures that will be integrated within Liberty Market Tower, designed to inspire residents and complement the creative spirit of the larger Liberty Village community.

A little more about the area… Liberty Village has evolved into a destination in and of itself. Both residents and visitors of the neighbourhood experience easy access to everything from sports and entertainment to hospitality and premium neighbourhood amenities - all within walking distance of one another. Liberty Market Tower reflects the best elements of the community and its surroundings, blending the aesthetic of the neighbourhood - both its industrial spaces and its contemporary condominium designs.
