Upping the 'wow' factor for new homebuyers, Trico Homes has made a grand statement with its newest estate showhomes in Legacy Woods in south Calgary.

Trico opened the doors to two new showhomes in Legacy Woods in late November showcasing the 2,703-sq.-ft. Stanley and the 2,539-sq.-ft. Rosewood.

“The Stanley is one of our best sellers and the home is typically used to showcase to people who are searching for ‘open’, ‘grand’, ‘spacious’, ‘welcoming’,” says area manager Kim Nguyen. “The Stanley is very open and grand and the designers have optimized the space."

“It’s a luxurious home with fabulous features that people love such as quartz countertops in the kitchen and bathrooms, engineered hardwood flooring on the main, and nine-ft. ceilings on the main floor and basement,” she says. “It appeals to families who love to entertain, and desire an inviting home that gives them space and privacy without sacrificing anything.”

The Stanley impresses right from the front door with a welcoming foyer that is open to creating that sense of grandeur, and around the corner is a half-bath, while barn doors open to a main floor flex room for a home office or formal dining room, depending on your lifestyle needs.

The kitchen is a feast for the eyes with gorgeous quartz counters, a large island great for casual dining or socializing with friends and family, built-in stainless steel appliances and cabinets that rise to the ceiling and extend into the adjacent dining nook.

A walk-through pantry connects the kitchen to the garage entry, making it easy to bring in groceries from the car, and buyers love the convenience of having a dog run through a side entrance.

The great room provides an inviting space for relaxing and entertaining with a beautiful wall-centred fireplace surrounded in tile and built-in shelves as a focal point.

Upstairs, buyers are wowed by the master suite that delivers comfort and luxury highlighted by a vaulted ceiling, a spa-like ensuite with oversized glass walk-in shower, separate tub, dual sinks and a huge walk-in closet.

Another eye-catching vaulted ceiling gives the large central bonus room a grand feel, and two secondary bedrooms, each with walk-in closets, a laundry room and a full bathroom complete the upstairs.

The lower level wows people with its massive rec room space, wet bar with wine cellar, fourth bedroom and a full bathroom.

Trico Homes has also built the Stanley model as the STARS lottery home in Coach Ridge that opened in January.

The builder has nine front-drive models with double- or triple-car garages on 42- to 44-ft. lots available in Legacy Woods with prices starting from the $600,000s. Most plans offer options to include four bedrooms upstairs, main-floor bedrooms and side entrances.

“The Woods also offers a rare chance of being able to live in an established aspen forest,” Nguyen says. “You will be able to enjoy your wooded backyard with a minimum of 33 ft. of trees behind each home.”

For more information, visit the showhomes at 25 and 29 Legacy Woods Circle S.E., open Monday to Thursday, 2-8 p.m., and weekends and holidays, noon-5 p.m., call 403-474-1545 or visit tricohomes.com.
