There’s always a Silver Lining at Vesta’s Copperstone + Southpoint!

Bridging the gap between luxurious style and affordability has always been the goal at Vesta Properties, and in these challenging times they are bringing even more opportunities to affordably own a stylish, well-designed home at two of its best-selling communities.

Vesta’s Silver Lining Sale is indeed one way of looking at the brighter side of things amid the pandemic, as those needing quick-possession homes get the perfect opportunity to snap up some of the best designed townhomes and single-family homes in Vesta’s Copperstone and Southpoint communities.

“This is our biggest sale ever,” says Vesta sales manager, AJ van der Linden. “We want buyers to be aware that there’s always a silver lining in every situation, and in this case, they can take advantage of some of the best pricing out there for a new home in Airdrie or Southeast Calgary with Vesta Properties.”

For a limited time, he says buyers can save up to $25,000 on move-in ready homes in both communities. “The sale began on June 1, and we’ve been getting a lot of interest. We’ve seen very strong traffic to our show homes and we’ve sold more than eight homes per week, which tells us there is a lot of demand for new homes out there and buyers don’t want to miss out on the bottom of the market prices plus they want to take advantage of record low interest rates.”

Vesta is both the land developer and exclusive home builder in the communities of Copperstone in southeast Calgary, and in Southpoint in Airdrie. “Both are thoughtfully designed communities that are surrounded by the best amenities in the area. They are located in well-established parts of their respective cities and have attracted a very diverse range of buyers – be they young singles and couples looking for their first home, or families looking for a community they can set roots in, or downsizers and retirees looking for a home where they can age in place.”

Copperstone is the last piece of developable land in the well-established community of Copperfield in Calgary’s southeast. “Copperstone completes the last piece of the puzzle in this community, which is already very well developed with schools, parks, pathways and thriving commercial areas,” van der Linden says.

“It is the last chance to own a new home in this part of town,” and he points out that buyers have to hurry as there are only a handful of quick-possession homes remaining.

“The two- and three-bedroom townhomes at Copperstone come with double car garages, and they are just across the road from a new elementary school, a wide-open green space and a new playground. We also have new single-family home models in Copperstone including single front attached garage homes that have become very popular. The opportunity to develop legal suites here is an added bonus as a mortgage helper or in-law suite,” van der Linden says.

Townhomes are now at $279,900, including GST, which is a $20,000 savings off previous prices. While single-family homes begin from $419,900 including GST, or a $10,000 savings.

In Southpoint, the savings get even bigger. “Our two- and three-bedroom townhomes in Southpoint have landscaped courtyards, double attached garages and upgraded standards that include quartz countertops, and buyers can save up to $25,000,” he says. They start at $255,000 including GST, which saves buyers $25,000.

Also available in Southpoint are three- and four-bedroom laned single family homes that start from $339,900, or a $20,000 savings. “We have single-family homes with lofts and side-entrances now available,” he says.

Southpoint is the ideal place in Airdrie to raise a family. The community features over 12 acres of green space including a tennis and basketball court, children’s playground, barbecue area, and a new school and dog park at your doorstep.

However, there are only a handful of quick-possession townhomes left in Southpoint and only three of their single-family homes, so buyers really have to act fast. “The traditional townhomes sold fast given their affordable price point, attached garage and exceptional access to the best Airdrie amenities,” van der Linden says.
