Toronto’s lively, cultural waterfront stretch offers year-round entertainment for Torontonians – whether its sailing boats across the harbour, soaking up the rays at the beach, sampling international cuisine or even sipping hot chocolate while ice skating outdoors.

Its intimate connection to Lake Ontario, proximity to the city’s downtown core and development potential made Toronto’s East Bayfront the ideal location for international real estate firm, Hines’, and one of Canada’s leading developers, Tridel’s, 13-acre master-planned Bayside community.

Located at Queens Quay East and Lower Sherbourne along the city’s eastern waterfront, Bayside is transforming this waterfront edge into an energetic, vibrant and cultural neighbourhood. Aqualina and Aquavista, the first two phases at Bayside, both experienced an overwhelmingly successful sales launch. Now, with the first two phases under construction, Hines and Tridel are preparing to launch their latest residential waterfront project, the highly-anticipated Aquabella at Bayside.

Aquabella is designed by internationally-renowned Danish design firm 3XN. After visiting the Toronto Islands and witnessing the relaxed, outdoor cottage lifestyle by its residents, architect Kim Herforth Nielsen was inspired and knew he had to bring this concept to Aquabella.

Aquabella is defined by its uniquely contoured shape, generous garden terraces, vertical neighbourhood concept and the extraordinary, panoramic views of Lake Ontario, neighbouring parks, and the city skyline offered from its suites. The 12-storey building has been designed to put residents first, and great attention was given to the quality of views, spacious living and lifestyle amenities throughout the design process.

The luxurious interiors at Aquabella are designed by the award-winning firm, II by IV. They boast spectacular views, quality modern finishes and expansive, open concept layouts. Suites are perfect for families and couples that crave space, but love the condo lifestyle – residences at Aquabella have everything buyers want. Suites in the coveted Lakeview Collection start from $1 million and range up to over 4,300 sq. ft. in size. Aquabella will also feature an exclusive collection of townhomes.

“With the combination of lakefront location, superior finishes, and well-designed spacious suites with expansive terraces, Aquabella will be one of our most luxurious buildings yet,” says Jim Ritchie, senior vice president, sales and marketing for Tridel. “We are offering a high-end luxury location along Toronto’s waterfront that offers buyers a wealth of amenities surrounding Aquabella, and right at home.”

Residents at Aquabella will have access to their own party room, dining room, state-of-the-art fitness centre, theatre room, landscaped rooftop terrace, outdoor pool and indoor and outdoor lounges. Those are in addition to the incredible amenities within the new Bayside waterfront community.

When complete, the 13-acre master-planned Bayside community will include a collection of residential and commercial towers, vibrant pedestrian friendly streetscapes, a Water’s Edge Promenade, a 0.75-acre park and feature an animated mix of retail shops, restaurants, cafes, entertainment venues, and other lifestyle convenience outlets.

Both Hines and Tridel are committed to furthering their Green building and sustainability efforts, and Tridel has won BILD’s Green Builder of the Year Award seven times, most recently for Aquavista in 2016 and for Aqualina in 2015. Like the first two phases at Bayside, Aquabella will be pursuing LEED Platinum Certification while the collective Bayside Community is pursuing a LEED Gold neighbourhood certification.

“We are honoured to be continually recognized for our Green building practices and sustainable developments. Our work on Toronto’s waterfront is pivotal to the revitalization of East Bayfront, and demonstrates our commitment to building a better city, as well as to the province’s program for a smarter future,” says Ritchie.

“Aquabella will be a shining example of indulgent living on Toronto’s waterfront, offering the perks of lakeside living without sacrificing the convenience of urban amenities,” Ritchie continues.
