UPDATE: Donald Trump's old home is still on the market

A few months ago we reported that Donald Trump's former home was on the market for an astonishing $54 million. It turns out, the real estate mogul's (and more recently – aspiring president) mansion is still for sale, and carrying the same price tag.

As the first mansion Trump purchased with then-wife Ivana, the home holds some sentimental value as well. Trump purchased the estate back in 1982 when he was a mere 35 years old. And while Trump has proceeded to run a billion-dollar corporation, star in his own reality show and run for president, his former home has also done well over years, with its value appreciating exponentially.

The estate was built in 1939 and sold for $200,000. Trump then purchased it in 1982 for $4 million, and Ivana (who received the home in their divorce settlement) went on to sell it for $15 million in 1991. And now, after extensive renovations which included adding a tennis court, a 4,000-sq.-ft. addition that comprises of guest suites, and a lap pool and sauna, the home is on the market for more than triple that amount.

The mansion sits on 5.8 acres of land and includes eight bedrooms, 13 bathrooms, a home theatre, putting green and three staff apartments.
