The hidden jewel of the southeast gained a little more sparkle, as Vesta Properties opens two new double front garage showhomes in its young, dynamic community of Copperstone.

The pair of family-friendly double front garage homes feature a modern, luxurious style that pack a visual punch. The Eastwood is a 2,096-square-foot four-bedroom home with three-and-a-half baths (yes, three!). While the Bradford is 2,344 square-feet with three bedrooms plus a bonus room. Both are exclusive models available only in Copperstone.

“There is a big demand for these homes in Copperstone, where a lot of families new to Calgary are putting down roots in – many of whom have multi-generational households,” says Vesta Properties Sales Manager, AJ van der Linden. “We’re also getting a lot of buyers who are moving up from their townhome or rental around the vicinity and don’t want to leave the area.”

This visually forward-thinking collection of three- and four-bedroom modern double front garage homes range from 1,829 to 2,344 square-feet and start from the high $400,000s. Family-friendly and luxurious these homes are packed full of uncommon options such as vaulted ceilings, open shelving in the kitchen, mix and match colour schemes, legal basement suites with black stainless steel upgrade options and more, van der Linden says.

“For all of our homes we are offering new elevations ranging from Modern Farmhouse, Prairie, Modern exteriors. All of our homes are designed with legal basement suites in mind with side-entry and nine-foot basements included as a standard,” he adds.

Among the new set of standards are quartz counter tops throughout the home, laminate floors throughout main floor, tile flooring in bathrooms and nine-foot ceilings on the main floor and basement. “The high ceilings bring a lot of spaciousness in the home; the basements don’t feel like basements at all. Plus, the vaulted ceilings in some of the models add to this look of grandness.”

Some exemplary design innovations are also in store, like the home office in all main floor layouts. “With many now doing work from home, the home office has become an integral part in many households and we included this in the design,” he says.

The bonus room also gained a new focus as a shared space among families and this design concept has been integrated not only in the double front garage homes, but in their Copperstone Signature Collection of laned homes.

“These are our most customizable home styles yet! These highly sought-after three-bedroom homes range in size from 1,735 to 1,867 square-feet and offer choice, versatility, and most of all comfort,” van der Linden says. This Copperstone Signature Collection starts from $419,900.

Copperstone also allows the building of legal secondary suites and most models can accommodate side entrances that maximizes the function of these homes. “Buyers can legally have renters in their developed basements who can assist in paying down the mortgage,” he points out. “The side entrances gives everyone the privacy they deserve.”

Check out the Bradford showhome’s one-bedroom, one-bath developed basement suite to see all its potential. The Bradford starts from $509,900 while the Eastwood is from from $479,900.

But the best thing in buying in Copperstone is that it is located within the fully-established greater community of Copperfield.

For all intents and purposes, the community of Copperfield is finished. All its schools are open, commercial areas are thriving, the pretty ponds and pathways are alive with joggers and dog-walkers no matter the weather. Even Copperfield Boulevard SW is now connected all the way through.

Copperstone is along the southeastern edge of the community, the final piece of undeveloped residential land in Copperfield where buyers can still build a laned home, a move-up home or townhome.

“We are the land developer and exclusive home builder in Copperstone, so we have the ability to offer the product that the market wants,” says van der Linden.

Copperstone will have around 450 homes when finished, including 150 townhomes. “The single-family homes sit on traditional lots, and not zero lot line ones, we felt it was important to maintain the original vision for the community,” he says.
