WEHBA confers Awards of Distinction

For more than 40 years, the West End Home Builders’ Association (WEHBA) has recognized the highest levels of achievement in the homebuilding, renovation, community development and residential marketing industries through the WEHBA annual awards program.

As with many organizations that bestow awards on their industry, WEHBA has an extensive selection of awards that recognize companies that make the homebuilding industry better. This year, the annual Awards of Distinction Gala gathered more than 380 leaders and stakeholders from the residential construction industry and were proudly presented by WEHBA partner, accounting firm DJB. The WEHBA Awards recognize winners for their merit and give them the opportunity to showcase some of the latest ideas and projects in their specific field. From suppliers to marketers, WEHBA receives award entries for every niche across the residential construction industry and the list of award categories has grown substantially over the years. Winners take pride in their achievement as it represents a distinguished industry recognition. This year’s Awards of Distinction covered building, design, promotion and marketing in the new home, renovation, marketing, sales and design.

WEHBA takes the integrity of the awards process seriously, and seeks to create a fair and impartial judging process. The Awards of Distinction winners were selected from more than 200 nominees by third-party judges from Toronto, Guelph, Kitchener, Niagara and London area members of the Ontario Home Builders’ Association, who are directly involved with the related award categories and have no conflicts of interest or affiliation with any WEHBA members.

Members of the West End Home Builders’ Association have the opportunity to submit for the Annual Awards of Distinction and receive one of the most prestigious recognitions in the industry.
