Steve and Joyce Scott founded Avalon in 1983. Much to their delight their son, Ryan, took an interest in homebuilding and, in 1995, joined the family business. He is now the president and CEO. Both Steve and Joyce couldn’t be prouder of all Avalon has accomplished in the care of his capable hands. Year after year Avalon continues to deliver the high level of customer satisfaction that was a tenet of its offering when the Scott’s first began building homes decades earlier. And it’s not just Mom and Dad that are proud. Avalon has received its fair share of industry awards over the years. Let’s just say Joyce may or may not have them proudly displayed on the mantelpiece.
