Donning a price tag of $195 million, this Beverly Hills estate is the most expensive real estate listing in America – and it's up for grabs! The 250-acre gated Mediterranean compound is complete with its own vineyard and offers views of the Los Angeles canyons and city lights.

Jeff Greene, a real estate entrepreneur with a net worth of $3 billion, purchased the sprawling estate back in 2007 for $35 million. He then proceeded to invest $25 million in its completion and expansion. The estate, deemed “Palazzo di Amore” or “Palace of Love,” is just one of the real estate mogul's many homes. Greene owns more than 30 properties in Florida, 3,500 apartments in Los Angeles, three buildings in downtown Manhattan and estates in Hamptons, Malibu and Palm Beach.

The main residence measures 35,000 sq. ft.; however, the estate has more than 53,000 sq. ft. of livable areas. The mansion boasts 12 bedrooms, 23 bathrooms and a 27-car garage. It also features a reflective pool, spa and tennis court, as well as a vineyard that produces six types of wine.

Greene converted the second floor of the main entrance into a 15,000-sq.-ft. entertainment centre that gives Gatsby a run for his money. The centre includes a disco and ballroom, revolving dance floor, a DJ booth and laser-light system. For more low-key nights, the entertainment complex also boasts a 50-seat private screening room, a bowling alley and game room.

Joyce Rey and Stacy Gottula, both of Coldwell Banker Previews International, are the listing agents.
