Best time to buy is now at Jayman BUILT
June 24, 2022
Summer is here but it’s not too late to enjoy some spring savings with Jayman BUILT, as the multi-awarded homebuilder launches a limited time savings promotion that promises the best homebuying deals in the city this spring.
Edmonton remains to be one of the most affordable of Canada’s major cities to buy a home in, and Jayman BUILT is presenting the opportunity to take advantage of the situation. The award-winning builder has come out with its spring saving event that will offer new spring pricing and give buyers the chance to list their existing home for free.
Charles Fay, Vice President for Jayman BUILT’s Edmonton Division, says they want to help prospective homeowners take advantage of the hot MLS market.
Listing help
“Jayman Realty is offering a Free Listing for the month of June, to help capitalize on the equity in their home, as they prepare to purchase and move into their new Jayman BUILT home,” Fay says. “Plus, it saves them up to $10,000, which is very helpful when you are purchasing a new home. However, this offer is only available until the end of June.”
Listing with Jayman Realty is advantageous in a number of ways, he says, as it provides a suite of offerings to homebuyers, helping them get the most resale equity from their existing home, leaving clients to focus on the purchase of their new home.
“Jayman Realty helps to take the stress away during their home buying experience. Not only do you receive full MLS® Exposure, but also professionally drawn floorplans & photography, brochures, feature sheets and market analysis reports, amongst a host of other products and services developed specifically to sell their homes quickly.”
Alberta advantage
Although the recent increase in interest rates might give potential homebuyers a pause, Fay says Alberta is in a good position to weather the storm.
“Rising interest rates are meant to slow and control inflation, but we are still at an incredibly affordable rate in our province. Alberta actually has one of the highest employment participation rates in Canada, and compared to other provinces, our monthly mortgage payments as a percentage of median family income is still incredibly affordable,” he says.
According to a report from the Canada real estate research website, SaveMax, Edmonton is still the most affordable of Canada’s major cities to buy a home with an average house price of $414,788. It sits at the seventh spot behind Toronto, Montreal and even Calgary.
With the MLS market still strong, homeowners looking to sell their existing home have an opportunity to get the most equity out of their home, as they plan to purchase their new home. “It really is a great time to buy a home,” Fay says.
Lots to choose from
Making the situation even better is that there are even more choices of homesites available today. Fay says that because high demand in housing has resulted in a shortage of residential land in the city, many land developers have released new lots. He points out that Jayman BUILT is well-positioned to take advantage of this with the ability to build homes in 15 of Edmonton’s most livable communities with its 288 new homesites.
“And whether you are looking for a walkout, pond or park backing homesite, we have something to offer,” he adds.
Buyers will be confident to know that these are no ordinary homes. Jayman BUILT offers not only the most energy-efficient, sustainable, and smart homes, they are also among the best designed in the country. Jayman BUILT recently added the CHBA National Awards of Housing 2022 Design Excellence Award to their list of accomplishments.
“This is the highest honour, and we were not expecting to receive this award out of 800 submissions across Canada. This top honour is a testament to our team and the hard work and dedication they invest into designing our home models,” Fay says.
Award winners and energy savers
The Cooper 20 and Arlington 28-4 were also awarded Best Home Designs in their perspective categories at the National Awards. “We invest countless hours on our designs, with the sole goal of bringing the best designs, most functional and innovative floorplans to the market. This is reinforcement for us in achieving that goal. For our customers, this means you are purchasing an award-winning home model, that has been thoughtfully crafted with your needs in mind.”
Jayman BUILT offers a comprehensive list of home models to choose from. “We have either laned or front attached garage homes open in every community we build in, with townhomes coming soon to both Southfork Leduc and Trumpeter by Big Lake,” Fay says.
“We also have new showhomes opening in many of our communities this Summer and Fall. We are excited to announce that every new showhome parade will include a Net Zero Certified showhome – we call these our Quantum Performance Ultra E-Homes.”
These super energy-efficient homes produce as much energy as they consume and are Net Zero Certified – this means they are 100 per cent better than current building code in Alberta and save over 10 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions each year.
“This is on top of the $2,000 in savings on your energy bill. We strongly believe in leading the Alberta market in energy efficiency and sustainability, and these showhomes are part of our commitment.”
