It was another grand affair, as the BILD Edmonton Metrohosted its annual Awards of Excellence in Housing Gala on March 15, that announced the best-of-the best in the region’s new home industry.

BILD Edmonton Metro CEO Kalen Anderson says that this event was a special evening bringing almost 1,500 people together to celebrate the best of the industry.

“We are very happy to announce the winners for this year’s Awards of Excellence in Housing,” says Anderson. “Together, these recipients and our industry are driving forward projects, developments, and initiatives that ensure our region is affordable, competitive, and attracts talent and investment here.”

Cantiro headed the list of winners, as they were named Builder of the Year-Large Volume, taking home a total of nine awards that night. Kanvi Homes took home Builder of the Year – Small Volume, and StreetSide Developments was named Builder of the Year – Multi-Family. Winners were awarded across 15 categories and over 500 member companies.

“Despite the challenges our cities and communities have faced — from the nationwide housing shortage to rising costs — our members remain committed to engaging, collaborating, and innovating,” says BILD Edmonton Metro’s Board Chair and President of Cantiro Communities, Katrina Rowe. “Tonight is a celebration of those innovations and the positive impact they have on our industry.”
