Brookfield’s Octave appeals to homeowners
December 11, 2019
Whether you’re a first-time buyer, on a quest to right size, or an empty-nester who desires a maintenance-free lifestyle, Octave offers a design that is bound to appeal to homeowners at every stage in life.
Crafted by Brookfield Residential, Octave consists of 129 row and stacked townhomes with attached garages located in Brookfield’s award-winning northeast community of Livingston.
“What’s so unique about the Octave, is it allows people to own without compromise,” says Brookfield Residential’s Director of Multi-Family, Ryan Moon. “We’re getting a great response from buyers who love the townhomes and the community, and we’re more than 30 per cent sold.”
Moon notes a big attraction for buyers is that Octave provides a lot of choices, giving them the space they need and want. “People love that they can own a three-bedroom townhome at an affordable price and have a private front door, attached garage and a feeling of security.”
Octave presents two- and three-bedroom townhomes ranging from 724 sq. ft. to 1,239 sq. ft. in seven different floorplans with low condo fees and starting from the mid-$200,000s. “I think the Ivory and Ruby townhomes are the most affordable in the north, and having so much choice is extremely important because they appeal to so many buyers at different stages in their life.”
Buyers also love the open-concept plans that include spacious bedrooms and large closets, stunning finishings such as luxury plank vinyl floors and stainless steel appliances, and having the opportunity to personalize their homes to reflect their own unique tastes and lifestyle.
There are fabulous new designer selections to choose from that call out to a wide range of styles. As well, they can choose between an attached single, tandem or double-car garage.
There are four showhomes open for viewing – the 742-sq.-ft. Ivory; the 919-sq.-ft. Ruby; the 1,080-sq.-ft. Plum; and the 1,239-sq.-ft. Carmine 2 – which allows prospective buyers to see the fit, finish and style of the Octave first hand.
“I believe Octave, by virtue of having choice, a private front door, garage and affordability in a great community, is the most inclusive townhome development for sale right now,” Moon says.
Livingston, which received the BILD Award for 2018 New Community of the Year, straddles Centre Street, just north of Stoney Trail. It will eventually be home to 30,000 residents who will enjoy 20 acres of environmental reserve; a 30,000 sq.-ft. Homeowners Association featuring a commercial kitchen, banquet and program space, gymnasium and more; an urban corridor offering a selection of retail and work options; and the future Green Line LRT.
Residents have quick access to Stoney Trail and Deerfoot Trail, close proximity to a variety of shopping centres, services, restaurants, recreation, entertainment and it’s an easy commute to the airport or downtown.
Along with the Octave townhomes, Livingston offers apartment-style condos, duplexes, laned single-family homes, front-drive single-family homes and estate homes.
