CHBA – Edmonton Region Announces 2022 Awards of Excellence in Housing Finalists

Despite the challenges of the past few years, Edmonton’s new home industry continued to grow, and that growth is being celebrated as the Canadian Home Builders’ Association – Edmonton Region announces the 306 finalists for the 2022 Awards of Excellence in Housing.

“The past few years have shown the resilience of our industry and we are excited to honour our members who have continued to develop and build beautiful places to call home,” says CHBA-ER CEO, Laura Bruno.

Presented by Star Mechanical, the Awards feature 64 individual categories including Single Family, Multi-Family, Infill, Secondary/Garage Suite, Renovation, Sales Centre, Advertising, Development, Leadership, Environmental, Builders’ Choice, Sales Volume, Sales People and Builder/Realtor.

The three Builder of the Year awards will be presented to the highest scoring builders in the small- volume, large-volume and multi-family categories. Finalists for Builder of the Year must demonstrate leadership in design, sales, advertising, and customer satisfaction.

“The Awards of Excellence features the incredible diversity of our membership,” Bruno adds. “From single and multi-family builders to renovations, community development, sales, advertising, and the suppliers, manufacturers and service providers, the Awards of Excellence is our opportunity to showcase our members who exemplify the hard work and innovation of the residential construction industry in the Edmonton Region.”

The winners will be announced on April 2, 2022, at the Awards of Excellence in Housing gala that will be held in compliance with all Alberta Health Services protocols in place at the time of the event. The following is a partial list of finalists. For the complete list, go to chbaedmonton.ca.

CHBA-Edmonton Region is a not-for-profit, volunteer driven organization that is the voice of the residential construction industry representing more than 430 member companies. Membership is comprised of new home builders, renovators, developers, trade contractors, building material manufacturers and suppliers, lenders, and other residential construction industry professionals.
