CURV: The shape of a new era

Poised to redefine luxury and urban sophistication, CURV is now selling. And that’s good news for savvy homebuyers who want to own a brand-new home in an iconic, 60-storey tower that will be the world’s tallest Passive House residence.

To be located at the high point of downtown Vancouver on Nelson Street between Burrard and Thurlow streets, CURV is an innovative partnership between Montreal-based Brivia Group and Henson Group. Not only will this be a unique addition to the city’s dynamic West End neighbourhood and the tallest luxury residential tower in Vancouver, but it is also the first project in North America designed by world-renowned architect Tom Wright, known for the world’s only seven-star hotel, Burj Al Arab in Dubai.

When complete, CURV will also set a new benchmark as the world’s tallest Passive House tower and the most energy-efficient structure of its type ever built. The Passive House standard is celebrated around the globe for its ability to reduce energy consumption, using as little as 1/10th of the heating and cooling energy required by traditional residential towers.

Plus, these homes are ultra-quiet year-round, provide exceptional air quality, and are super-insulated with triple glazing thermal electrochromic glass windows, a combination that puts CURV far ahead of the City of Vancouver’s 2030 target for all new developments to be carbon neutral. Good for you, good for the environment.

“Vancouver is a city that is internationally renowned for its high environmental aspirations,” says Kheng Ly, Brivia’s president and CEO. “We wanted to develop a project that uses cutting-edge technologies to align with the city’s values, while optimizing wellness for the people who live at CURV.”

Raising the bar on luxury

Inside, CURV residents can expect equally remarkable interiors that exude elegance and sophistication, crafted by award-winning architectural designer Andrés Escobar from L’Atelier BeSpoke Masterpiece, working in collaboration with design studio Lemay_id.

Here, you can relax and savour the very best this world-class city has to offer. And with views in every direction—English Bay, Stanley Park, Coal Harbour, and the North Shore Mountains—your toughest choice may well be which panorama you want to wake up to every morning.

Amenities are extensive and diverse. Here are just a few hints: A children’s outdoor play area; a 60th floor state-of-the-art fitness centre and yoga room powered by Lululemon that both provide inspiring views as you work out; a 61st-level observation deck with a Sky Spa, outdoor chef’s kitchen, and dining area; social lounges with TV screens; a hotel-inspired lobby with 24-hour concierge; as well as secure bike and parcel storage areas.

All this, and you’re just steps from the best of the city’s dynamic shopping district, spectacular entertainment and sporting venues, galleries, and restaurants sure to keep your taste buds tingling for months. And whether you prefer travelling by foot or skateboard, peddling your favourite two-wheeler, or hopping aboard transit including SkyTrain, getting anywhere and everywhere is simple.

CURV’s presentation gallery is now open from noon to 5 p.m. daily except Fridays, or by appointment any time at 510 Burrard Street. Visit thecurv.ca for more information about this prestigious offering.
