For the past three decades, Daytona Homes has built a reputation for crafting stylish, lifestyle-oriented homes in Edmonton that are designed with people at heart. As Daytona heads into 2024, continuing to deliver high-quality homes that are attainable for homebuyers is their team’s main goal.

Founded in 1993 by Ralph Hutchinson, Daytona Homes has been steadily growing, and now the company has expanded into multiple cities across Canada, invested in numerous communities, and innovated its housing products to meet the evolving needs of its homebuyers.

“At Daytona Homes, we believe in doing what’s right, no matter what,” says Daytona Homes Sales Manager, Tania Nash. “This approach is seen in our steadfast commitment to affordability, thoughtful design, quality materials and skilled trades. Our team, partners, customers and communities can count on us to always put people first and lead with care.”

Crafted with care

The emphasis on craftsmanship and quality is seen throughout its extensive selection of home designs, including townhomes, duplexes, and single-family homes with both detached and attached garages.

Daytona Homes’ focus on customer care is also a big part of its company ethos, especially as many of their clients are first-time homebuyers who appreciate Daytona’s thoughtful approach to the homebuying process.

“Our offerings also encompass a diverse array of floor plans, including the highly sought-after investment suite options,” Nash says.

Daytona Homes, part of the Tacada group of real estate companies, builds in 10 communities in Edmonton and surrounding areas, and more are coming soon.

Eye on affordability

As they head into 2024, Daytona Homes is focused on how to keep their homes affordable. Their goal is to ensure homebuyers are getting high-quality homes that are priced right – and they are confident that they can deliver.

“Affordability is the biggest challenge homeowners are facing in this market, so designing attainable homes is our top priority,” Nash says. “In the upcoming year, we’re focused on introducing more models that cater to the evolving market, ultimately supporting homeownership. Our dedication extends to our customers, employees, trades, suppliers, and partners, all collaborating to craft new homes and an unparalleled home buying experience.”

She adds that Daytona’s success is rooted in its ability to stay attuned to the ever-changing lifestyles, needs, and aspirations of its homebuyers. “With this insight, we design homes and communities tailored to each individual. As a company, we prioritize quality in our people, our work, and our product,” Nash says. “Our emphasis remains on continuous business growth for many years to come.” This focus on family-oriented designs can be easily seen in the eight showhomes they have in the Edmonton region.

The wow factor

Each showhome has their own unique touches and a “wow factor” that has made them a must-see in all the communities they are in. Their Macan front-drive-garage showhome in the Uplands at Riverview features a stunning basement legal suite that realizes the home’s full potential. While its Carrera laned showhome in the Orchards has a legal suite above the detached garage that has been a popular option for many of its laned home buyers.

Nash says the Venture is their top selling front attached home. “It is popular for its smart functionality and affordability. It features and a beautiful open concept design with over 1,800 square-feet of living space. Because of its popularity we’ve made sure it’s available in most of our communities.” Buyers can check out the Venture showhome in Ellis Greens.

She says the Tiguan 2, which has a showhome in Chapelle Gardens, is their most popular laned home. The desirable flexibility of its design makes it easy to personalize to almost every need. “This home comes with a bonus room on the second floor, which is rare on laned homes,” Nash says. “It also comes with a side entry, which is essential if you are thinking of developing the basement for future revenue potential.”

Daytona is Edmonton’s leading investment suite builder, Nash states. “We offer a unique opportunity for homeowners to strategically offset their mortgage by incorporating income-generating rental suites into their properties, providing a pathway to financial growth and stability.”

At Daytona Homes everything is done with a focus on the details, and an unwavering commitment to quality and craftsmanship. From their team’s dedication to supporting customers find their perfect address, to their care for communities, partners, and local organizations – it’s evident that every element of the Daytona experience is crafted with care.
