Working from home increased the need for flex spaces not only in single-family homes where they are expected, but in the multi-family sector as well. They offer the benefits of a front-drive garage (FDG) floorplans for a more affordable price. “It’s perfect for first time homebuyer or those who enjoy the perks of FDG homes without requiring the square footage,” she adds.

Plank says developing secondary suites have become important to their buyers for rental income or to accommodate extended family. We are hoping to develop more floorplans that accommodate this upgrade,” she adds.
