Go west, young buyer of lowrise homes

Looking at new lowrise homes in the GTA and feeling priced out of the Toronto market? You might want to consider heading west – to Milton.

Branthaven Homes is about to launch a new community of townhomes in the fast-growing town – the fastest growing municipality in the Greater Golden Horseshoe.

The Burlington-based builder is to unveil Pure, its two-storey, freehold townhome community in Milton this summer. Pure Towns will be available in six, two-storey town floorplans, ranging from 1,765 to 2,030 sq.ft.

The company says hundreds of prospective new-home buyers have pre-registered.

“We are very excited to announce our arrival in Milton,“ says Steve Stipsits, president of Branthaven. “We are a well-established name in Burlington and Oakville with a loyal following of repeat and move up buyers. With Pure Towns, we are able to offer our signature style and Fresh Thinking to a new audience of homebuyers who will aspire to Live the Life in Milton.”

Milton is a town on the move. The 2011 federal census named Milton Canada’s fastest-growing community and the second youngest community in the GTA.

“Milton is the number one choice for young professionals and families who want small-town allure and wide open spaces. They are also looking for quality new home construction, contemporary finishes and family-friendly amenities at an affordable price point,” offers Stipsits. “They will find it all at Pure Towns.”

The the town collection will be located off Bronte Street South, tucked into its own landscaped enclave. “The exteriors are classic Branthaven – authentic styles with high quality stone and brick on the outside and contemporary open plans on the inside,” says Stipsits. “And, at 20-ft. wide, they are wider and more spacious than what is typically offered in Milton. They will be the perfect balance of chic city style in a charming country setting.”

Interiors will include modern design conscious features, such as extensive use of glass and airy nine-ft. ceilings. Floorplans will focus on flow and functionality.

Suitable for busy professionals or multi-tasking families, Pure homes' kitchens will feature deep drawers with pots and pan dividers, dream pantries, smart tech plugs, cutlery roller drawers, pull-out bins, extended uppers, tablet mounts, tile backsplashes and chef’s islands – included at no extra cost.

Bathrooms will featured modern square tubs, glass shower doors, designer tiles, shower caddies and hotel-inspired vanities with integrated shelves.

Milton is well suited for active, family-friendly living, the company says. Situated between Sixteen Mile Creek and the Protected Escarpment, surrounded by parks and natural green, Milton offers plenty of options to cycle, hike, walk and explore. There are four conservation areas, as well as an abundance of parks, trails and golf courses close by. There's also the ski hills at Glen Eden, the new Milton Centre of the Arts and the nearby Toronto Premium Outlets mall.
