What’s happening It was a highly anticipated event, and it did not disappoint! Throngs of excited Calgarians came out as the Calgary Farmers’ Market opened its long-awaited second location in the northwest. The new 55,000 square foot location hosts 67 vendors, supporting more than 200 year-round jobs.

The Calgary Farmers’ Market has been operating in the city for over 11 years, and its south location attracts more than a million visitors annually.

The new location is built to remind customers of an old train station, features a food hall consisting of 12 kitchens serving food from around the world, a kid’s play area, a two-story atrium and a new event centre. Located just off of the Trans-Canada Highway, the new location is right in the heart of the Greenwich community in the northwest.

Jayman BUILT’s new showhomes in Mahogany

Jayman BUILT kicked off the fall homebuying season in a big way as it celebrated the grand opening of five new show homes in Mahogany.

Featuring live music, a scavenger hunt and food catered by Alvin’s Jazz Club from the nearby Westman Village, the grand opening was one of the biggest events hosted by Jayman BUILT in the last two years.

The new single-family homes feature both laned and front-drive garage models, including brand-new, never-been-seen-before models (the Erica laned home and the Emerson front-drive garage home) and a couple of Jayman’s cutting-edge NetZero homes (the Avid laned home, and the Charlotte front-drive).

Featuring high ceilings and personalization options for each floorplan, Jayman is excited to show the versatility each new model offers, says Jayman BUILT sales manager, Michael Klassen. “Starting from the $530,000s, these new features won’t break the bank either. All models are also available to be built as a Net Zero! From in-home gyms to basement suites, we would love to show you the exciting new features we are bringing to our new builds in Alberta,” he adds. Find out more at jayman.com.
