From November 1 to December 31, 2024, Genesis donated $1,000 for every townhome and $2,500 for every single-family home sold, with proceeds benefiting essential local charities, including the Airdrie Food Bank, Veterans Association Food Bank, Calgary Food Bank, Women In Need Society, Calgary Region Foster and Kinship Association, and Trellis Society.
“Another year is coming to a close and the holiday season reminds us how lucky we are to spend time with our family, friends, and community,” said Mike deBoer, Vice President, Homebuilding at Genesis Builders Group. “We understand that many are going through tough times right now, and there is no better way to give joy than by helping those in need.”
Over the past four years, the Genesis “Gives Joy” campaign has generated $192,000 for various organizations.
Website for The Pointe now live
WestCreek Developments announces that the website for The Pointe Estates is now live, giving homebuyers all the information they need about this newest estate phase in their popular southeast community of Legacy.
The Pointe Estates will feature Legacy’s largest estate lots yet and have some of the most amazing views of the Bow River Valley with ridge lots and lots that back onto an environmental reserve.
Morrison Homes and Veranda Estate Homes will be the exclusive builders in this new phase.
“We are really excited for this new estate phase,” says WestCreek Marketing Manager, Kalida Manarin. “Homes here will sit on lots that range from 55 to 64 feet, which you can’t get anywhere else in the city. We will have cul de sacs – again a rarity in Calgary these days. Each home will have eight-foot grand entrances and no pathway interruption to the environmental reserve.” Buyers will have the choice of lots that back onto the environmental reserve, the ridge, or Heritage Pointe Golf Course.

Painted Sky’s new showhomes
Small town living never looked so good, as Qualico Communities opened three new showhomes in Painted Sky.
New showhomes from NuVista Homes, Broadview Homes, and Sterling Homes are now open to visit in Painted Sky and give new homebuyers the experience of living in this young community in the growing prairie hamlet of Langdon,
“Painted Sky is a haven for families looking for an alternative to city living,” says Qualico Communities Marketing Manager, Monica Bilyk. “The community offers larger lot sizes than those in the city and triple-car garages, which allows residents to park their recreational vehicles more easily throughout the year.”
Painted Sky is located just off of Glenmore Trail east of Calgary, which allows for quick access to the city. Construction has also begun on the commercial site located within the community itself and will bring a variety of amenities, including a 25,000 square foot grocery store, a gas station, restaurant, pharmacy, liquor store, fitness service, as well as other retailers.
