What’s Happening
Residents of Qualico Communities can go viral, as the developer launches their Porchraits Project. Qualico is partnering with Michelle Wilson Photography to say thank you to new homeowners and lift their spirits, and everyone who takes possession of their home in one of Qualico’s communities during June, July or August get a free photo session on their porch – or porchtrait. “Despite these challenging times, purchasing a new home is still one of life’s major milestones that deserves to be celebrated” said Nina Wulder, Marketing Consultant for Qualico Communities.
StreetSide returns to Inglewood
StreetSide Developments has a long history in the historic community of Inglewood, and it is renewing this relationship with the launch of Konekt Inglewood.
Konekt consists of 104 one- and two- bedroom homes in a three-storey wood frame building, each home has a dedicated parking spot.
The project site is at the very heart of Calgary’s oldest community. It located along Inglewood’s Green Pathway System, which links Pearce Estate Park in the east to the River Walk and Fort Calgary in the west. The site is steps away from the Bow River, The Bow Habitat Station and Sam Livingston Fish Hatchery, the Inglewood Aquatic Centre, and the community’s bustling 9th Avenue District.
“We have a long development history with Inglewood and an appreciation for the community,” said Richard Daley, Vice-President, StreetSide Developments Calgary.
“The name ‘Konekt’ was inspired by Inglewood’s ideal location and the ability to connect with its surroundings, its people, its history.” Pre-sales have started, and homes start from the low $200,000s. Find out more at livekonekt.ca.
Jayman BUILT opens two new show homes in Cornerstone
Jayman BUILT – one of the big winners at the 2019 BILD Awards – just opened two more show homes in Cornerstone. The new show homes mark Jayman’s first front-drive-garage homes in this dynamic northeast community.
“We are excited to open this product type and be able to provide this product offering to growing families in one of Calgary’s best northeast communities,” says marketing lead, Kirby Ryan.
Both the Keira and Karma are especially perfect for blended families, Kirby says. “There are so many options to personalize this home to suit each family and their individual lifestyle and needs. There is an option for a main floor bedroom with full bath. There is an option for a secondary suite and side entry for rental income in the basement, or for a larger family to have a parent or other relative live in the secondary suite.” All Jayman BUILT show homes are open for walk-ins.
