Inside Edmonton - November 22, 2024
November 26, 2024
What’s happening On November 5th, the 15th annual Baskets of Hope fundraiser for WIN House took place at the new Rohit Headquarters in downtown Edmonton, drawing the largest crowd to date. The event, which raised an incredible $14,000 and filled 285 baskets with essential comfort items, was a powerful display of community support for those impacted by domestic violence. This year’s theme, “Voices Lighting the Way,” focused on sharing stories of strength and resilience. Special guests included Lieutenant Governor Salma Lakhani, who joined for her second year in a row, and sponsors who generously contributed to the silent auction and event stations. The funds raised and the baskets assembled will have a lasting impact, helping those on their journey toward safety and healing. Learn more at winhouse.org and rohitgroup.com.
