What’s happening On October 9th, Homes by Avi and M.E. LaZerte High School proudly celebrated their inaugural partnership, showcasing the impressive work of students who built the main floor of the Sasha – a 1,523 sq.ft home with three bedrooms and 2.5 baths. Over the past few months, students received blueprints, materials, and hands-on support from Homes by Avi, gaining invaluable experience in the home building industry. This initiative not only teaches essential skills but also opens students’ eyes to potential careers in the trades. Once completed, the house will be sold, with proceeds directed back to the school to further enhance this incredible program. This collaboration highlights the importance of practical education and community involvement, providing high schoolers with a unique opportunity to apply classroom knowledge in real-world settings.
