What’s happening

Even with the chillier temperatures and shorter days arriving in Edmonton, there is definitely a sense of excitement the air. November brings the anticipation of all things festive and fun, and there’s no better way to kick-start the holidays than with the annual All is Bright festival on 124 Street. Celebrate the winter season with twinkling lights, a night market filled with local treats, food trucks, fun winter activities, and so much more! Mark your calendars for Saturday, November 20th from 4pm-8pm and get ready to count-down to the festivities! This free community event takes over the 124 street area and features a main stage located at Helen Nolan Park, where families and guests of all ages can enjoy live music and an exciting light-up ceremony. Find all the details at 124street.ca.

Morrison Showhome

Located within the southeast community of Walker Summit, Morrison Homes' stunning Heathrow II showhome is a must-see for homebuyers. At over 1,800 sq.ft., the showhome is a modern and fashionable escape, with an open concept main floor and gorgeous details throughout. Setting the sleek and sophisticated tone of the home is the kitchen, with a large island featuring a unique waterfall countertop in a dark marbled finish. Chic black cabinets pop against the crisp white tile backsplash, and a gas range and stainless-steel appliances complete this modern space. Just off the kitchen is the living room, which presents a showstopping fireplace surrounded by a modern design that extends onto the ceiling. Perfect for entertaining, the dining room effortlessly transitions off the living and dining room and is spacious enough to comfortably fit a table for eight. The home’s second floor presents three bedrooms, including the owner’s retreat with a spectacular spa-like ensuite. Visit the Heathrow II showhome located at 5213 22A Ave SW. Open Monday-Thursday from 3pm – 8pm, Weekends/Holidays from 12pm – 5pm. Learn more at morrisonhomes.ca

Anthem United Contest

Anthem United’s province-wide contest has been extended until November 30! The give-away will see one lucky winner receive $25,000 - the highest valued giveaway ever hosted by a land developer and homebuilder in Alberta!

“Over the past 18 months, we’ve launched three new communities, and our builder partners have opened 53 new showhomes across Alberta. We wanted to celebrate this by giving one lucky winner a huge cash prize,” says Cody Price, Marketing Manager, Anthem United. “A safe home that meets your family’s needs has never been more important, and we’re proud to be developing vibrant, new communities that support the way people want to live.” The contest is open to Alberta residents of at least 18 years of age. No purchase is necessary to enter or win. To enter, visit any of the 120 showhomes in Anthem United’s 15 communities across Alberta. Each showhome has a unique QR code, so the more showhomes visited, the more chances you have to win.

Anthem United has 15 active communities throughout the greater Calgary and Edmonton regions. They have partnered with 32 quality homebuilders who have a total of 120 showhomes to explore, including duplex, laned, front garage and townhomes. Learn more at www.anthemgiveaway.ca
