Averton in Midtown
Averton’s Midtown community has marked an exciting new milestone with the official launch of its partnership with Habitat for Humanity. This noteworthy collaboration highlights a shared mission: building stronger communities and making homeownership attainable for more families. The event brought together representatives from the City of St. Albert, Habitat for Humanity Edmonton, and Averton’s dedicated team. Together, they celebrated the commencement of a project that will see the construction of four new homes in Midtown, addressing the need for affordable housing. The four homes will be built by Averton, in partnership with Habitat for Humanity Edmonton, the Province of Alberta, and the City of St. Albert. Notably, the Government of Alberta has been a strong supporter of Habitat’s initiatives since 2005, investing $400,000 into the St. Albert build. Habitat for Humanity Edmonton is renowned for its efforts in bringing people together to build homes and communities that foster strength and stability.
