Ready to launch?

The Bogner Group has applied for a development permit to the City of Vancouver to redevelop six former single-family lots on West 41st near Columbia Street. The development, known as The Bromley, will consist of 40 contemporary townhomes. Designed by RH Architects, the architect on the project, Vincent Yen, says the Bogner Group is waiting for the city’s approval before it can move forward with launching The Bromley to the public. If approved, The Bromley will consist of 2.5-storey townhomes along the lane, with one-storey apartments along 41st, with a landscaped courtyard in between them.

Food for thought

Century Group ‘s newest master-planned community, North Surrey’s Century City Holland Park, has been designed with a food-centric philosophy. Driven by an ethos that food is the common factor that brings people together, Century City Holland Park will feature a Market Food Hall with multiple food stations, a central bar, an orchard of apple trees, and a greenhouse to grow organic produce that will end up on the plates of guests dining in the Market Food Hall and bar lounge. In addition, each home in Park Tower 1, a 39-storey tower featuring one- and two-bedroom homes, will be equipped with a kitchen grow shelf.

A pivotal collaboration

After selling out Aldergrove Town Centre’s first release of homes, Janda Group is launching Phase 2 — Creekside — a collection of 66 condos. Dubbed the first of this kind of master-planned community, Creekside, in tandem with the demolition of the Aldergrove Mall site in Aldergrove’s downtown core, will offer one-, two- and three-bedroom condos. “Our goal with the development of Aldergrove Town Centre has been to keep the core values of the community at heart, while helping to facilitate Aldergrove’s future growth,” explains Sonny Janda, president of Janda Group. “This project truly is the result of a pivotal collaboration with Langley Township and the residents of Aldergrove.”

Did you know?

Revisions have been made by Wesgroup Properties to the plans of the future 49-storey condominium and rental housing tower replacing the Georgian Towers building in downtown Vancouver. The tower’s podium base has been completely redesigned with a sweeping, curving form that resembles the roots of a tree.
