It wasn’t too long ago that Quinn’s Pointe, Minto Communities’ Barrhaven South neighbourhood, debuted its second phase. Just minutes from the centre of Barrhaven, homeowners can enjoy a quiet corner of Ottawa where they can plant their roots and start planning for the future. The pace is a little slower here, and the streets are less busy.

Let the kids play in the yard or meet up with friends and neighbours in Guinness Park, which exists in the heart of the community. Here they can make the most of the tennis courts, splash pad, and play structure. Plus, big things are coming to Quinn’s Pointe with the latest phase. The future park will include a baseball diamond, new play structures and lots of greenspace — it’s set to be a hive of activity for all ages.

Doing Saturday morning shopping is a breeze with a plethora of shops located just minutes from the community in the heart of Barrhaven at Strandherd Drive and Greenbank Road. Costco and new shops at Citigate are also a quick drive away, offering even more dining, fashion and home retail options.

For recreation, it doesn’t get much better than the state-of-the-art, accessible Minto Recreation Complex just a short walk or bike ride away from Quinn’s Pointe. There is an endless list of community programs, classes and drop-in activities to take part in, not to mention facilities including ice rinks, lap pools and a football field.

And no matter the grade, whether starting school for the first time or transferring after the move, there are educational institutions from Ottawa’s four school boards close to Quinn’s Pointe. Thanks to future schools planned for the community, your children will be able to receive their full education even closer to home.

The newest phase of Quinn’s Pointe is opening its home collection to brand-new floorplans as well as welcoming back favourite designs from Phase 1.

Single-family homes on 30-ft., 36-ft. and 43-ft. lots are designed to impress with an open-concept layout, large windows that flood each room with natural light, a full-sized kitchen with breakfast nook and the choice of three or four bedrooms with ample closet space. And with so many floorplans and exterior designs to choose from, it’s easy to find the right home for you and your family.

Three-storey Avenue Townhomes and two-storey Executive Townhomes return to Quinn’s Pointe with the features and finishes of a larger home but in a low-maintenance capacity. These are great homes for homeowners just starting out or looking for a different space.

The new Laguna Executive Townhome has been garnering a lot of attention with its simple yet stylish design, well-appointed kitchen, bright living space and finished basement — perfect for a family room.
