Trico Homes is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year and is marking the occasion with the introduction of their latest laned home model – the Bravo.

Released this June, the Bravo is part of Trico’s 30th Anniversary Home Collection, and it is destined to become one of the flagship models of the multi-awarded homebuilder.

“This collection of anniversary homes was curated through years of experience, innovation, and continuous improvement,” says Glenda Schwartz, Trico Homes’ Director of Marketing.

“For our 30th Anniversary Home Collection, we’ve taken some of the most popular features and options, from some of our most popular models, and created a design that’s really captured the spirit of our legacy,” she adds.

Carmen Tsui, Lead Product Development Designer for the Bravo, tells Calgary New Home + Condo Guide that the unprecedented flexibility, rarely seen in a laned home, is the key in this plan.

“We have created this model with multiple options to accommodate different demographic needs. The base plan starts off at 1,600 square-feet and has numerous options to expand the living space,” she says.

Available options include a spice kitchen, and a main floor bedroom with full bath. Tsui says a lot of new homebuyers are choosing the spice kitchen option to “accommodate cultural cooking,” which minimizes the spread of cooking aromas through the rest of the living space. While having a main floor bedroom, she adds, is a necessity for multi-generational living, large families, or to use as a guest room. Homebuyers can also choose to develop the basement for additional living space.

The Bravo’s standard plan offers what homebuyers want and need, including a 10-foot island, walk-in pantry, and a large window at the stairwell to bring more natural light into the home. Being a laned home, it also has oversized windows at the front that add to the sunny optimism of the Bravo.

The Bravo, starting from the low $500,000s, will be made available in eight of the most popular communities Trico builds in, including Chelsea and Dawson’s Landing in Chestermere; Midtown in Airdrie; Cornerbrook and Homestead in the northeast; Glacier Ridge in the northwest; and Seton and Wolf Willow in the southeast.
